Introducing Tasmaniac Distillers: A Taste of Tasmania's Huon Valley

Today, Tasmaniac Distillers is proud to announce the launch of our first three products: Trademark Gin, Strawberry Apero, and Coffee Liqueur. Distilled and bottled with love by a trio of country-living, folk-singing, and banjo-stringing mates, Tasmaniac brings the authentic flavours of Tasmania's Huon Valley to the spirit industry.

Let's rewind to the turbulent days of 2021, where the world was gripped by the C-word pandemic. It was during those long and treacherous nights that Max and Calypso reached out to Adam with what can only be described as the worst idea ever: starting a distillery together.
However, fueled by our unwavering passion for crafting exceptional spirits, years of research and development, and meticulous attention to bottle designs and artwork, Tasmaniac Distillers was born. Our vision was clear—to capture the essence of the Huon Valley and infuse it into every drop of our products.

At Tasmaniac, we wholeheartedly embrace the concept of "local." We handpick the organic apples that form the base of our gin and source ingredients like strawberries and hazelnuts from the vibrant local community. Supporting local growers and using locally grown produce is a cornerstone of our ethos, and we are committed to continuing this connection.

Every step of the distilling process, from the creation of each spirit to the filling of bottles, labelling, and wax sealing, has involved our intimate involvement. We are proud to adopt a DIY approach, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Moreover, as an environmentally-friendly brand, we refuse to compromise on our values—we use no plastic and engage in small-batch production, minimising our ecological footprint.
